Sean Holder is a professional wedding photographer serving Virginia Beach, VA and surrounding area’s. I got my start in weddings training under one of the best and most highly respected wedding photographers in Virginia. Having had the opportunity to photograph in over 19 countries and throughout the United States has given me wealth of knowledge handling various photography situations. I am currently a member in good standing with the Professional Photographers of America and The National Associations of Photoshop Professionals. I a have occasionally been sought-after as a photography expert within the Hampton Roads legal community and called upon as an expert witness in legal matters pertaining to photography in the Virginia Beach Circuit Court; for the past 5 years I have been teaching photography to beginner and amateur photographers.
Sean’s accomplishments include: He was the Official Photographer for the world premiere movie “Atlantis Down” starring Michael Rooker (JFK, Mississippi Burning, Cliffhanger and the current AMC series The Walking Dead) & Dean Haglund (X-Files). Directing, editing and producing an Award-Winning Video of a Laparoscopic Hysterectomy performed by Dr. N. Jafri (President of OB/GYN Associates of Hampton Roads) which won the 2010 National Spotlight Award for a major surgical device company; Sean was also the official photographer for India Fest 2010-2013 and Taste of India 2010-2013; Sean’s work has been published in major magazines, newspaper’s and calendars.

I have been a photographer for the past 20+ years, traveled to 19 countries, lived in the Philippines for 3 years and have photographed some amazing people and placed. My last photo assignment overseas was to Bangladesh in 2009. I had a feeling that ever since making my first pinhole camera in 1987 that I was on a path to something incredible. I recently spent close to 3 years shooting alongside an Award Winning Wedding Photographer here on the East Coast, the additional skills I learned from such a talented wedding photographer was a phenomenal experience.
