There are few things in this world that can hold people together like a kitchen table. From the time I was small, I remember the table, no matter the size or circumstance, bringing people to common ground. It was there that I watched my families recipes come to life, and it was there that I learned the importance of culinary tradition. Every recipe carried the history and personality of the person before, as each added their own personal twist to the script.
